And what fun the Form 1 students had on May 25. Students participated in a Story-telling Competition and a Matching Competition. Class 1B won the storytelling competition. IB students interpreted the story ‘the Monkey and the Crocodile’ with enthusiasm and exact emotion.
Class 1C won the Matching Competition while class 1B was the runner-up. This competition was rather challenging as students were asked to match English and Chinese word meanings.
Form 2 participated in their English Fun Day on June 3. Class 2A won the Story-telling Competition where they needed to interpret the story ‘A Caterpillar’s Voice’. The judge, Miss Lee, was impressed with the effort put into English pronunciation.
The Form 2 Matching Competition was also won by 2A with class 2C being the first runner-up and class 2B being the second runner-up.
All Form 4 students participated in the competition and Mrs. Stone was extremely pleased with the level of originality. The overall winner was 4E Lee Hong Nam, The first runner-up was 4C Ko Sau Yin and the second runner-up was 4C Lee Yu Ho. All three students submitted original, entertaining and clearly expressed stories. Well done!
